merry christmas

last christmas eve

i remember my last christmas eve.
unlike tonight, i was doing something.
i was ushering at a christmas celebration of a church at JHCC.
working with my two lovely friends.
going home with some cash in the pocket.
then one of my friend had a sleep over at my house,
in my room which was a real mess.
it felt christmas, though.

at time like this,
i can only hear the voice in my head.
