tonight (28/4) the world are turning off the lights for EARTH HOUR. surely not the whole part of the world but some big part of it, i think.
according to the rule, the lights should be out from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and so i did for my house. didn't off all the electricity stuff, to be honest. the air con for my sleeping dad, fridge for my tiny-bit-left ice cream, and another stuff i figured i do not know how to turn them off.
ten minutes or so before earth hour, me and my mom were getting ready for the big hour. switched off the computer, lighted a candle, grabbed our cellphones, then turned off the lights. then we walked outside to see if anybody were doing so. met a bunch of neighbors who did the same (not exactly, they did cut out the electricity. a little chit and chat, then walking to the alley.
we figured there were not much people doing it. some of them kept the porch light on. then we back to our home. looking at the telly in silence. then grabbed the remote. finally we turned it on for killing time.
what an earth hour did i do? not much. but as my mom said, at least we tried.

wahh i wasnt even home during earth hour. so consider the lights off, except kamar mbak dan masnya. hehe.
